DCT Gdańsk's new investment plan

Within the next three years, the company will spend around EUR 65 mln (PLN 280 mln) on upgrading its container terminal, which already nowadays handles the largest number of TEUs in the Baltic.

The currently 1.5 mln TEU/year of capacity T2 quay will have two new STS cranes, as well as five electric RTGs, which in turn will serve an enlarged storage area.

Two new tracks will be added to DCT's railway siding, too, while all tracks will be lengthened in order to accommodate 750 m long trains.

Lastly, the terminal's truck gate will be fully automated.
