Kiel gains new on- and offshore services

Kombiverkehr will as of 11 January reinstall a regular rail connection between the port's Norwegenkai and Hamburg's Billwerder, while at the same Color Line will open a completely new ro-ro route to Oslo.

The Norwegenkai-Billwerder service is to run five times per week in both directions.

Color Line will ply between Kiel and Oslo six times per week with the help of the acquired in mid-2018 Finncarrier (the 1A Super ice class ro-ro ship is 175.4 m-long and 22.7 m-wide, offering 1,775 lane metres of cargo capacity, incl. plugs for 40 reefers).
