Molslinjen will soon receive its newbuild

The 158 m-long ferry Hammershus, the first ever constructed by the Finnish shipyard Rauma Marine Constructions, has successfully undergone sea trials.

The ro-pax, able to take onboard up to 700 passengers as well as accommodate some 90 trailers, is scheduled to enter its target service between the Danish ports of Køge and Rønne in autumn 2018. Hammershus will ply under the brand Bornholmslinjen.

However, according to Molslinjen's plans, she'll also sail between Rønne and the German Mukran (Sassnitz) during the summer seasons.

The newbuilding will be delivered to her owners by end-June.
