The subsidiary of Russian Railways has launched a container rail service from Jinan to Frankfurt, with the help of RZD Business Asset, Shandong Hi-Speed Qilu Eurasia Railway Logistics, Infraserv Logistics, and Contargo.

The first train was dispatched from the Jinan Dongjiazhen station on 12 March and arrived on schedule at Contargo Industriepark Frankfurt-Höchst on 4 April.

The service crosses the Zabaykalsk/Manzhouli and Brest/Małaszewicze borders.
