Rail Cargo Group (RCG) opened the TransFER Enns-Hamburg, connecting the Container Terminal Enns and the Port of Hamburg. Trains will make two roundtrips per week on the new route.

RCG's Intermodal Division transported approx. 77k TEUs to and from Hamburg, 33.4k TEUs on the link to Terminal Wolfurt, with six departures per week and 576 trains, and 43.5k TEUs on the link to the Vienna/Linz terminal, also running on six departures per week, totaling at 576 trains.

The operator is the sole traction provider on these routes, resulting in continuous handling and reduced transit times.
