As of mid-October, Hupac will connect the Italian Pordenone and the Polish Gliwice with three weekly round trips.

With traction provided by Mercitalia Rail, the Poland-to-Italy transit time will be 16 hours, while around 20 hr in the opposite direction.

The service's trains will stop at Hupac's terminal in Pordenone. PKP CARGO CONNECT will handle them at its container terminal in Gliwice.

Dangerous goods will be permitted for shipping.

According to Hupac, taking the service will result in 1.3t CO₂ savings per road consignment.
