Rostock-Xi'an rail-sea service

A 49-container-big train, dispatched from the Chinese Xi'an, arrived at the German Baltic Port of Rostock on 7 April.

The multimodal service saw the train going through Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, and Lithuania before its arrival at the Port of Kaliningrad, where containers were transshipped onto one of Mann Lines' vessels, which, in turn, brought them to Rostock.

Next, particular shipments headed to their final destinations in Italy and Sweden, including the Port of Trelleborg, Rostock's partner in setting up the new rail-sea offer.

Another batch of containers from China is scheduled to show up in Rostock the following week.
