As of the beginning of October, the company's Fiona Sea and Jutlandia Sea will be calling to the Swedish port within the Zeebrugge-Antwerp-Kokkola-Skellefteå-Kemi-Oulu service.

The addition follows the transport & logistics deal between Wallenius SOL's subsidiary Scanlog and Northvolt. The latter is setting up Northvolt Ett, a lithium-ion battery gigafactory in Skellefteå.

Later on, the shipping company will swap the two vessels with its newbuilds, the gas-run 242 m-long and 35.2 m-wide ro-ros of 5,800 lane metres capacity.
