The intermodal terminal in Central-southern Poland, which sits at the European and broad-gauge rail networks to/from Ukraine, will receive PLN180 million (€42.3m) of investment from the Polish Industrial Development Agency.

The funds will be spent on a new area with seven tracks, plus cargo handling equipment.

Once upgraded, Euroterminal Sławków's yearly capacity will double to 530 thousand TEUs.
