The wheeled part of Stockholm Norvik spans over 12 ha, offering 525 m of quay wall, 142 parking places for trailers, a 4,000 m²-big warehouse, plus 7,000 m² of storing space. In total, the terminal can handle up to 200k ro-ro cargo units/year.

The now Norvik-Ventspils route is served by two ro-paxes, Scottish Viking (2,300 lm/800 pax) and Stena Flavia (2,255 lm/800 pax), making 24 round trips/week. They'll be replaced by the enlarged Stena Lagan and Stena Mersey (2,875 lm, plus a separate car deck, and 970 pax) early next year.

Johan Edelman, Trade Director at Stena Line responsible for routes to and from Latvia, added, "Moving to Stockholm Norvik Port is an important part of our expansion in the Baltic Sea, and provides us with good prerequisites to continue to grow, together with our customers. Already at the beginning of 2021 we will welcome the first of two new, modern vessels that will increase our freight-carrying capacity on the route by 30 percent."
