TT-Line and the Port of Trelleborg renew their co-op

The Lübeck-based ferry line and the Swedish seaport have signed a new 10-year-long agreement.

TT-Line runs a terminal in Trelleborg and connects the port to Travemünde, Rostock, Świnoujście, and Klaipėda with the use of seven ships.

Next year, one of TT-Line's newbuilds (230 m-long and running on gas) will enter traffic in the Baltic.

"We are looking very much forward to further develop our 60 years of successful cooperation," Hanns H. Conzen, TT-Line's Managing Director, said.

The Port of Trelleborg's CEO, Jörgen Nilsson, also commented, "It is extremely gratifying that TT-Line chooses to extend its agreement and sees the potential with Port of Trelleborg's unique geographical location. It is of great value to us as a port that TT-Line offers as many as four destinations and we look forward to additional capacity with the two new Green Ships. With tomorrow's new vessels, loading and unloading of freight will be even more efficient and flexible and means that we will be competitive to meet increased freight volumes."

The new agreement runs till 2031's end.
