Unity Line takes in a ship

Euroafrica, a business partner of the ferry company Unity Line, has bought from the Italian Tirrenia di Navigazione the 1995-built ro-ro Puglia for an undisclosed sum.

The ship, offering room for 99 passengers and 1,780 lane metres of cargo capacity, will be renamed as Copernicus and put on Unity Line's Świnoujście-Ystad service in April or May. She will replace the 41 year-old ro-pax Kopernik (360 pax/975 lm).
