WALLENIUS SOL expands its fleet & network

The shipping line has chartered, from Leomar RoRo, two ro-ro vessels, Fionia Sea and Jutlandia Sea, set to start plying in the company's colours as of January 2021.

The two will be placed on the Kemi-Oulu-Husum-Zeebrugge-Antwerp-Vaasa route. Each offers 3,300 lane metres and approx. 300 TEUs of cargo capacity.

In addition, WALLENIUS SOL will reschedule its other services, including the addition of the Finnish Port of Kaskinen into the Kemi-Oulu-Husum-Lübeck loop.

"I'm very pleased we can now make calls in more ports and improve our sailing schedules. The new calls are at better times, and we're also shortening lead times from the continent to northern Finland. There are also good opportunities for adding additional ports to the sailing schedules, which fully reflects WALLENIUS SOL's strategy," Jonas Wåhlin, General Manager, WALLENIUS SOL, commented.
