FRS to launch two new routes

The Flensburg-based shipping company will extend its Spanish network with two services: Alcúdia-Cituadella and Ibiza-Formentera.

The former will kick off at the end of May, while the latter with the start of June.

The Alcúdia-Cituadella service will be operated by the 86 m-long Tarifa Jet, offering room for up to 777 passengers and 175 vehicles. The fast catamaran ferry has the MyCare certification against COVID-19.

The 56 m-long San Gwann (427 pax/15 vehicles) will connect Ibiza and Formentera.

"We are incredibly grateful for the support and collaboration with Balearic authorities in launching these new routes. We have been welcomed with open arms throughout this process and look forward to further expanding upon our reputation with passengers in the region as the trusted safe commercial ferry and shipping operator," Ronny Moriana, Managing Director, FRS Iberia, commented.
