The objective of the proposed project is the development of the European Transport Maps (ETM) portal to be used as a tool for the optimization of transport and logistics processes. This is motivated by the proven success and industry-wide recognition of the Baltic Transport Maps (BTM) portal ( www.baltictransportmaps.com).
The project will be implemented by applying the proven solution to a broader market . It will show the European network of ferry, container, and rail (intermodal) shipping routes . It will also provide a platform for maritime companies to establish business connections .
