The Åland shipping company has bought the 1996-built ro-ro vessel Baltic Bright, to be handed over in July after 25-year class renewal and installation of a ballast water treatment system.

The ice class 1A, Swedish-flagged ship is 134 m-long and 20 m-wide, offering 1,068 lane metres of cargo capacity.
