Stena Line adds a third ship to the Travemünde-Liepāja ferry crossing

The Stena Vinga ro-pax has joined Stena Gothica and Urd, and will sail with them between Germany and Latvia for a couple of weeks in April and May.

The 130 m-long ferry offers 1,500 lane metres of cargo capacity as well as room for up to 400 passengers.

Later this year two bigger vessels will be deployed across the Travemünde-Liepāja service, increasing the line's cargo capacity by 40%, according to Stena Line. At the same time, the transit time will go down from 27 to 20 hours. The weekly timetable will comprise 12 sailings, six in each direction.
