UTLC ERA's 1,000th China-Europe train in 2018

The joint venture between the railways of Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan has dispatched its thousandth New Silk Road train this year.

The train, comprising 41 forty-foot containers loaded with electronics, covered the distance of 5,430 km between Chongqing and Duisburg via the Dzerzhinsky-New station in the Kaliningrad Oblast in less than six days.

"In 2016, we met 'The 1,000th' in December in Dostyk, last year - in August in Brest. This year, the train number '1000' was processed in June at the border terminal of the Kaliningrad region. It is incredibly pleasant to see the concrete result of joint activities and build even more ambitious plans for future periods," Alexey Grom, President, UTLC ERA, commented.
